The TAT was created by Sam Correro and his desire to ride across the country from coast to coast off pavement. It spans from North Carolina to Oregon covering nearly 5,000 miles.

The route consists of dirt, gravel, jeep, forest and farm roads. Adventurers will find themselves riding dried-up creek beds, atop abandoned railroad grades, through mud, sand, snow and rocks. The terrain varies wildly and offers a unique experience for those seeking an adventure that takes you places many never go.
